THE STORY
ROOTED IN CHICAGO.
OPEN TO THE WORLD.
Raven Winter is a Chicago-based DJ, host and cultural connector with more than 10 years of experience producing music and cultural events. Her relationship with house music extends far beyond the booth. Her sound moves through Afro House, Deep House, Chicago House and Tech House, driven by percussion, soul and movement.
Her journey includes Uhuru Afrika, where she hosted and helped produce events in Boston, New York and Los Angeles. She also booked international artists, coordinated artist travel and accommodations, and managed event teams. That experience deepened her connection to Afro House music, culture and community.
Now back in Chicago, her hometown, Raven brings that history to a sound grounded in the city’s house music legacy while embracing global influences.
Beyond the booth, Raven is a designer, singer, curator and connector — and a Naked and Afraid survivalist, completing a 14-day survival challenge on Discovery Channel. DJ. Designer. Singer. Curator. Connector. House music’s primitive nature survivalist.
